The four topics for the vote were selected in August 2025 in collaboration with representatives of climate and transformation organisations. Participants: Climate Alliance Switzerland, One Planet Lab of WWF Switzerland, Transition Bern, the Wyss Academy and the Office for Environmental Protection of the City of Bern.

Here, each year, we look for ways out of the climate crisis – towards a society free of fossil fuels and a planet which remains habitable for human beings.

How can we make changes that work for everyone? Which ideas are the most promising? What is already happening in the Bern region and beyond?
